Disability Assessment
Our geriatrician is an accredited Severe Disability Assessor by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Severe disability assessment is important to get access to schemes such as Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE), Eldershield with a private insurer eg. Income, Great Eastern, Aviva and Careshield Life.

You will be reimbursed fully for the assessment if you are assessed to be severely disabled. If you are assessed to have mild/moderate disability, you may still be eligible for mild/moderate disability schemes like the Pioneer Generation Disability Assistance Scheme, Home Caregiving Grant and FDW Levy concession.
Fees for a disability assessement are as follows:
In-clinic: $100
House Visit: $250
Reimbursement of the fees will be at the discretion of the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC).
